This young athlete boasts substantial social media presence
The young golfer can count on numerous prominent backers when she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
The former president, a passionate golfer, owns multiple international courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just stay calm."
"He practically told me to go out there and have fun," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, making him quite busy."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions recently and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
However she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"And he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge multiple top competitors in women's golf at the competition, including world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai exposes the sport to new audiences, particularly among youth audiences.
Kai has a massive following and has started her own clothing and lifestyle label.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
